I was lucky enough to have Ms. Short as a Reading teacher years ago. I also enjoyed working with her as a colleague at Beazley. Her compassion and caring for others was limitless. She was one-of-a-kind, and always made others feel important and special. Even as her health was failing at the end of the school year, she was there for her students. She will be greatly missed!

Both of our daughters, Amanda and Kimberly Schraner, were fortunate to have had Pam Short as their 5th grade teacher at Walton Elem. in Prince George County. She was an inspirational and motivating educator.
