Paula Sutherland Obituary
She was born in Dickenson County, Va., to the late Clayton and Helen Prince Sutherland. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her niece, Michelle Sutherland Crum.
Paula retired in 2018 from Fort Lee Army Base where she had served as a civil servant with the Global Combat Support Systems. She loved living in Petersburg, Va. and enjoyed the history of the area. She also enjoyed fly fishing and spending time with her many friends. Paula was a member of Destination Church.
Survivors include her two sisters, Pam Sutherland and Kim Lane (Mike); and one great-nephew, Luke Crum.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many friends who have shown their support during this time.
A prayer and committal service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Va., led by Kathy Martin-Stricker.
