Reggie was my friend for over 40 years. He was a soft spoken guy that could talk with me for hours and we lived in separate states. I admired him as a soldier and a father and a grandfather. He was my confident during many struggling times for him and for me. Not many frienships last after high school, friends from Henrico High in the Classes of 1965 and 1966 have endured 41 years. I love you Reggie. I am so blessed that God put you in my life. Since we are both Christians, this is not goodbye, but see you soon. We always said to each other when our conversations ended, I love you
Reg...I love you too. Bless you Reggie Johnson. I will never forget you or the kindness and love you have shared with me.

I am so proud to know Reggie. We were at Henrico HS together, and I have nothing but fond memories of our friendship. I am so proud of Reggie's military service. He is an American hero in my view, and I am thankful for his sacrifice for our country. I saw Reggie in June at our high school reunion, and I can say that it was worth the 1,000 miles I drove to that gathering because I got to see, talk with, and hug on Reggie. Heaven is a better place today because Reggie Johnson has arrived. For the family, please accept Patsy's and my sympathy in your loss.
With Love and Respect,
