Robert Allen Parham, Jr.

May 29, 1944 - July 10, 2025

Robert Allen Parham, Jr., died at home on July 10, 2025, in Beaufort, South Carolina. Sudden cardiac arrest was the stated cause. He was 81. Bob was born May 29, 1944, in Towson, Maryland and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He was the older son of Robert A. Parham, Sr., and Polly Cason Parham. a graduate of Douglas Southall Freeman High School, Richmond, in 1962, he received a Bachelor's Degree in business from the University of Richmond and a graduate degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He spent his career in the financial investment industry. Bob was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Janet W. Parham. He is survived by his brother, Nicholas W. Parham of San Francisco, California, and several cousins, including Myrtis Ann Parham of Alexandria, Virginia. Bobby," was a life=long sailor, having lived in New Orleans for 14 years, sailing between "NOLA" and Destin, Florida. He also enjoyed other hobbies such as canoeing, fishing, cooking and computer programming. Funeral arrangements are pending. Donations in Bob's memory may be made to the University of Richmond or the ASPCA.
