Robert Taylor Ware, Jr. "Bob", passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Bonnie Bowles Ware; a son, Robert Taylor Ware III; brother, William Ware; and sister, Robin Ware Sletten. Bob was a graduate of Huguenot High School, where he played multiple sports, including his favorite, baseball. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers organization in 1967 and pitched for their farm teams until 1972. A devoted husband, he was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
A private gathering of friends and family will take place in early spring.
