March 5, 1956 - May 21, 2025
Roger Lee Turner, of Goochland County, Va. went home to be with Jesus, after a valiant battle with cancer on Wednesday May 21, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 5, 1956, the youngest of five in Morgantown, WV. Roger was a skilled carpenter, contractor who took pride in his work. He loved his wife, his family and would do anything to help his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leona and Bernard Turner; his brother-in-law, Jackson Friend; his sister, Sue Hustead; and his grandson, Michael Turner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Turner and her sons, Jason and Jeremy Adams; his son, Zachary Benton Turner and his wife Erin; his daughter, Crystal Turner; his granddaughter, Anna Grace Turner; his brothers, David Ray Turner (Butch) and his wife Sandra, Russell Turner and his wife Pam; his sister, Ellen Mae (Penny) Friend; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at Calvary Chapel Goochland, 3394 River Road West, Goochland, Va.
