Rosemary French Wood

March 24, 1935 - May 4, 2025

Rosemary French Wood passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyatt French, Sr. and Katherine French; her siblings, Wyatt, John and Nancy; and her husband, Thatcher Wood. She is survived by her son, Steve Frazer and his wife April; grandchildren, Anna Richardson (Matthew), Harrison Frazer (Lindsey), Katelyn Frazer, Nathaniel Frazer (Genevieve); and three great grandchildren, Hank, Daisy and Annie. Rosie was born in Baltimore on March 24, 1935. She grew up in Richmond and graduated from St. Catherines School (1953). She attended Mary Baldwin College. She loved her job at Home Beneficial and enjoyed working with all the wonderful people there. She attended St Stephen's Church all her life and was active in many different ministries.

A memorial service will be held on May 29th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 6000 Grove Ave Richmond, Va 23226. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen's Church Food Pantry. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Reminiscence of Sunrise of Bon Air.
