Uncle Ross had the gift of showing genuine empathy to those with
whom he conversed without the
slightest condescension, He kindly
sponsored me for the Board of the
George C. Marshall Foundation.
I greatly enjoyed knowing him, and
admired his intellectual curiosity.

Ross Millhiser and his late wife Eleanor were wonderful supporters of Trinity College, her alma mater. Mr. Millhiser in particular challenged us in a very positive way to excel as an academic institution. On behalf of President Patricia McGuire and the entire Trinity Community, we offer our thoughts and prayers to his children and grandchildren.

We send our deepest condolences to the family of this wonderful man. We've been so blessed by knowing him and have been able to help so many because of him. We will be forever grateful that he recognized the value of our work as he was the first to believe in the vision of AIS and to support it in the way that he did. We will all miss him.

Mr. Millhiser is such a rich part of the history and success of our company, it is very sad to lose that link with our past. His many significant contributions to Philip Morris and society will always be remembered and he will be greatly missed.
