Roy Carter Obituary
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2024, followed by the family receiving friends from 3 to 4 p.m., at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 24th, at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road, Glen Allen. Dr. Kirkland R. Walton eulogist. Interment, Roselawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Rev. Carter's name to: VCU ALS Clinic, 11958 W. Broad Street, Henrico, VA 23233. Online guest book at scottsfuneralhome.com.

My thoughts are prayers are with the family of Rev Roy Carter. His loving wife and children will truly miss his daily presence in their lives. He has touch many lives with his kind and comical spirit. I will truly miss how he shared his knowledge of the word and the importance of being informed about politics of the world. He was such a joy to be around and his way of engaging others will truly be missed. Rest in peace with your Father.
