Russ was a special guy and a great family man. We shared many happy moments ringing Barbershop chords in both quartet and chorus. I miss him.

Dear Grace,
you have been on my mind for a few weeks, so I went to google to see if I could possibly find a current address to drop a short note to you. I saw there, where your husband had passed away in October of this year. I´m sending heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
Fondly,
Jennifer Hughes

We were saddened to hear of Russ' passing and sorry that I was not able to attend his funeral on Monday. His service was at the same time the Virginians were singing at the Virginia War Memorial for the commemorative service of the 40th anniversary of the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut Lebanon.
