LLEWELLYN, Sandra "Sandy" Peters, 66, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Sanford J. Peters. She is survived by her children, Fred Thomas Barber III (Angie) and Megan Gold (Brian); grandchildren, Freddy, Jackson, Elsa, Ruby, Lily and Wade; her mother, Nancy Peters; brothers, Tom Peters (Suzanne) and Michael Peters (Kathy); and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She was a retired nurse with many accolades. She loved dogs, travel and the beach. Sandy had a beautiful life and always enjoyed helping others. She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30 from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross, redcross.org. Online condolences may be left at woodyfuneral

I lived next door to Sandy, in Creekwood. Back in the day. She took care of me when we had our daughter. She was bubbly, kind, sweet and the first friend I meet when we moved in. She will be missed.
