Brian, I am so sorry for the loss of Scott. Right before Christmas I came across an old picture of some of us kids in Oakdale Lake in your driveway with Mark Thompson little mini bike. Made me thinks of all of us and the innocence and wonderful childhood we had back in Oakdale. Please share my condolences with the rest of the family even though they don´t know me. May Scott Rest in Peace, Grace, Love, Good Health and No Pain. If you want me to send you a picture of the picture just let me know in messenger.

Remembering Scott always begins with a smile. I had the pleasure of knowing Scott for 30 years. He was always positive and thoughtful in work and leisure. He and I became friends at work and it continued after. I recall him as being open, humorous, honest and dependable. He was willing to give people the benefit of the doubt when assessing and addressing ALL situations.
One of my earlier conversations with Scott was around his wife Deanna. I can't remember the details of how it started but I recall chiding him about Deanna hooking her wagon to his rising star. He gave me a very serious look and said no, he was hooked to her rising star. He was not afraid to give credit where credit was due and to always take the humble approach to this and other conversations. That is just one of the many refreshing aspects of his personality.
At work, he reported to me for a couple of years and I always remember him being the one I could count on to take on a situation without griping or complaining...EVER! There was plenty of that going on around him but he was not going to get distracted by any negativity. He will be greatly missed by myself and everyone that knew him!
