I worked with Dr. Jones at New Directions for many years. He was always welcoming and invited me into his classroom to share what what they were learning that day and to CELEBRATE student successes. ALWAYS CELEBRATE. He uplifted the lives of everyone he touched.
Dr. Jones faced health battles for as long as I knew him. Still, he was upbeat, positive, funny, and ALWAYS CELEBRATED his students –even when they battled their own challenges. May we ALWAYS CELEBRATE HIM and his memory in similar ways.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Stanley's passing. He was my friend from about the time we were 4 years old. I met him when he would tag along with his older sister Eula to visit my older sister, Jackie at our home. No matter where I was or whatever I was doing, he always stayed in touch. I remember he and his mom visiting me in California. For a brief few hours in time we could reminisce about past shared events, people from elementary school, high school and of course, Freeman! He and the rest of his family were "family" to me. I greatly admired his passion for teaching and inspiring young minds about science! He had a "gift"! I will keep and cherish our fond memories together as friends! I and my wife offer our thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the entire Jones family. Stanley will be missed by all!
