I grew up with Steve's kids and they are family to me. The thing I will miss most about Steve is his laughter. My heart goes out to you Mickey, Mike, Matt and Kristal. Take care of each other.

I have some great memories of Steve as he was the big brother of my best friend, Kathy, growing up in the neighborhood. From walking to school, to playing pool in the basement. He was a happy guy and a great father. He will be missed.
I am sure the memories and happy times will bring you great comfort at this very difficult time.

I worked with Steve at the Post Office in Richmond, and he was my boss in Budget for nearly a year. He was a good friend as well as a great person to work for. He had a great sense of humor and his laughter was infectious. He was very passionate about his family and spoke often of them at work. Steve, I will miss you buddy!

Steve and I go back a long way at Latham bowl where we teamed for a long time.Always had a smile and something nice to say.A strong laugh was soon to follow,I will never forget that !
I hope al in the family grows stronger and remember all of the good that has happened to all of us because we knew Steve.

I met Steve as a poker player and he became much more then that. He was a friend that will be missed by many people. He made me smile whenever I saw him, I will miss him deeply. You and yours are in my prayers.

I am very sorry to hear that cancer took Steve from you.

Steve will be truly missed. I met him in Albany and, through the Postal Service, met him again in Richmond. He was truly knowledgable in his work and a pleasure to know.

We have lost a good friend and a truly gentle man. Steve always supported me at work and even on the golf course. He helped so many people. We shared many good memories over the years. We laughed with and at each other. He loved to laugh, loved his family, and his fellow man. He will be sorely missed.

To the Morgan's Family,
It is with a heavy, heavy heart I write this and send my condolences to the family of Stephen. May his entire family find peace at this most trying time. I have found peace in the following prayer and I would like to share it with you.
When I come to the end of the road

Remember the love that we once shared,

Mickie & Family
I am so sorry for your lost. I can not imaging what you are going through. Mickie I can't imaging loosing my best friend. Tell the kids to hang on to there memories of their Dad. Steve was a wonderful person and I'm glad I have my memories. We will miss Steve. Its like loosing another brother. Just know that you and your family are in are thoughts and prayers. If you ever need to talk don't hesitate to call.

Growing up as friends with his son Michael, I ended up spending a lot of time with Stephen, and even worked with him for a time. He was always super-tolerant of us crazy kids and quick to laugh at, and with our shenanigans. It's lamentable to hear he's left this existence so early. My sincere condolences go out to the entire family.

The Latham Merchants Bowling League has lost another past member. Bob Berdar passed away earlier this past week and now Steve. Our times together will always be cherished memories. My condolenses to Mickey and the family.
