Thomas Bourne Obituary

BOURNE, Thomas Lewis Jr., of Montpelier, died Friday, January 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Lewis and Mattie Bourne; brothers, Clyde and Silas Knight Bourne; and sisters, Julia Moss, Virginia Nuckols and Nellie Carter. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irma Parrish Bourne; his daughters, Yoland Morris and her husband, Bob, and Jacquelyn Bowles and her husband, Gerald; grandchildren, Susan Anderson, Tommy Bourne, Kevin McLeod and Amy Wyant; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Lois Carpenter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 26 in Hopeful Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
