Thomas Davis Obituary
January 12, 1940 - January 10, 2026
Thomas Bartlett Davis of Chesterfield Va., passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 85.
Tom is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Davis (nee Clarken), son Cullen Davis (Eleanor), siblings, Elizabeth Shontz, Murray Davis (Chris), James Davis and Ellen Peppler and granddaughters Cameron Davis and Mia Davis who were one of the greatest joys in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Davis and Rita Kilduff Davis; son, Ryan Davis; and brother, Patrick Davis.
Tom was born and raised in Baltimore, Md., where he served as a Firefighter in the Baltimore City Fire Department and retired as a Fire Officer. While Tom eventually retired to Virginia, he remained an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.
Tom pursued a lifelong interest in model trains and was fondly known as a train aficionado. He was a member of the Virginia Train Collectors.
A service of Thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 5 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 236 S Laurel St., Richmond, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Andrew's Memorial Fund.
