Thomas Talley Obituary

Thomas Ashby Talley, III

February 7, 1946 - July 30, 2025

Thomas "Tommy" Ashby Talley, III, 79, born February 7, 1946, in Richmond, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on July 30, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Talley; his sister, Nancy T. Hinson, and her husband, Richard T. Hinson; his cherished niece, Rachel E. Hinson; and his much-loved dogs, Coco, Putt-Putt, Louis, Molly, and Roscoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline H. Talley and Thomas A. Talley, Jr.

A proud graduate of the University of Richmond, Tommy remained a loyal Spiders fan throughout his life. One of his greatest passions was cheering on the Richmond Spiders. He never missed a football game, faithfully showing up in the stands every season. His love for the Spiders was part of who he was, and a legacy his family will always remember. Professionally, he was an accomplished and dedicated real estate developer, owning and operating T. A. Talley Builders for many years with care and integrity.

Tommy's love for his dogs was a defining part of his life. His home was always filled with their companionship, joy, and unconditional love. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Richmond SPCA, honoring Tommy's lifelong love of dogs. Richmond SPCA donations can be mailed and made online.
