On October 12, 2024, Thomas Thurman, Jr. suddenly passed away surrounded by his family. He was born December 25, 1928. Tom is survived by his wife Janice Thurman, his children Daniel D. Thurman, Bonni Grubbs (David); stepchildren Tracy Gyori (Richard), Joseph L. Simon; 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his siblings Judy Laird and John Thurman. He was preceded in death by his first wife Abigail Nanetta Thurman, his parents, and 3 sisters. Memorial service to be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 22 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 9155 Hungary Rd. Henrico, VA.
