Omg! omg! omg! I literally just went to send her an email at chesterfield county in this moment and it came back rejected, so I decided to look and see via google whether or not she had went to a different district and found this first. I can not stop crying and shaking, I had the pleasure of working with Ms. kern via Zoom during 2021-2022 school year, as my then 4 year old entered into school, she struggled with acclimating to school coming out of the pandemic, and as she struggled the school was about to refer her to out services, I an active parent researched and tried to find help, in the process I found Ms. Kern. When I tell you I could not have met a more genuine person! And though we never physically met, she was a pure joy, and delight, she is the reason my daughter is thriving now in first grade. She assured me that I was doing the right thing and encouraged me to continue to advocate for my daughter in the manner in which I was. She go me, I guess it was because we bother are northerners. We laughed about how assertive we can be at times, however we were not push overs. My last email sent o her on 2/8/23, sharing with her how she changed our family's lives and an updated picture of my daughter.

Her simple yet beautiful words will live with me forever "This made my morning!!" We all need a little support now and then to get through this journey of life and I'm glad I was able to do my part."

Thank you Ms. Kern! You are appreciated! You are valued!

Sincerely,
The Nesbeths
