William Jennings

June 15, 1945 - October 9, 2024

Jennings, William Younger, 79, of Chesterfield County, passed away on October 9, 2024. He was the son of the late John Wilson and Ruth Younger Jennings. He is survived by two sons, William Todd Jennings (Heidi) of Canal Winchester, OH, and their children, Sydney and Ethan; and Bret Lawrence Jennings (Jessica) of Mechanicsville, VA, and their children, Samantha and Conner. He is also survived by his brother John W. Jennings, Jr. (Barbara Strong) of Columbia, MD, his niece Ashley J. Butler (Richard) of Falls Church, VA, his nephew, John W. Jennings, III (Lisa) of Cumming, GA, two great nieces and three great nephews. He was a life member of West End Jaycees, member of NARFE, Chapter 2265, and retired from Defense Supply Center Richmond. A memorial service will be held at Mulberry Baptist Church, 3096 Mulberry Rd., Nathalie, VA 24577 on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private at Mulberry Baptist, his home church of earlier years. Bill requested no flower arrangements, please. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifeNet Health Foundation, 1864 Concert Dr., Va Beach, VA 23453 or Mulberry Baptist Cemetery Fund.
