William Oldaker Obituary
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tina; and son, Daniel Oldaker.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Taylor; sons, William Oldaker III (Elizabeth), Charles Oldaker, Erick Oldaker (Mary); daughter-in-law, Tracy Oldaker; stepchildren, Erin White (Wes) and Zach Taylor; eight grandchildren; and the mother of his sons, Linda Oldaker.
Bill was most proud of his 50 years service to his country and having been a Vietnam War veteran. After retiring from the Army after 20 years as a CW3, he served an additional 30 years as a Department of Defense civilian culminating in his last position as Deputy Director, Enterprise Systems Directorate of United States Army Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Carson United Methodist Church, 17407 Halligan Park Road, Carson, Va. 23830. A reception and lunch will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Any memories of Bill will be welcome and appreciated during the service.

We were driving into town this evening, and Ken wondered (out of the blue) when did Bill Oldaker retire? A quick Google search showed his funeral was today. Our condolences to Linda and the boys. We will never forget our trip to the Netherlands, camping with 7 boys (two of them infants).

He ran a good race. Our deepest sympathy and condolence go out to Sabrina and the extended Oldaker family. Given our friendship of over 4O years, its a little hard processing this unexpected event. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you work through this time of sadness. The most honorable, most important, thing I can say about Bili is that he was a friend.....we will see him on the other side.
