Dear Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Overton. Mr. Overton was a patient of mine 20 years ago. He has done our taxes(personal and business) for about as long. He so loved talking about his gradchildren. We will miss his mild manner a lot. He was such a true friend. Once again we are so sorry to hear about your loss.

To All who read and submitt- Dad was a special man, with a spiritual heart much stronger and bigger than his physical heart. That spirit will be honored and live on and be honored through a memorial scholarship for his beloved MDA kids. Dad was never the leader or outspoken one. He was the backbone and cement to many causes. This time as far as we know he will lead the way, for we believe this is the first scholarship for just MDA kids in this area. God says the meek will inheiret the earth. Dad never had that much nor did desire much material things here on this earth but through his reunion with his God his blessing are still being bestowed. Love to All who have sent their support, prayers, and love. Dave and I will be sponsoring this book so I hope in the next year if you think of Dad or some little thing happens that makes him pop in mind, you will share it with us through this medium.
God Bless

I was so stunned to hear of Dan's passing. He was such a nice man.It will be odd to go into the
drugstore and not see him there with you, your Mom, Dave, Ruth, and
Tommy eating and just laughing and having a good time. He will be missed by all.

Gale and family,
We were so sad to hear about "Grandpa" Dan. I'm glad Wade and Wimpy were with him on Friday & I was so happy that we went to see him on Saturday. I guess that's why it was such a shock when I heard this. He looked so good. My heart just feels broken in a million pieces right now. Since we just went through this with Wades mom we know the pain you are feeling and we are feeling it with you. I wish I could take the hurt away from all of you.
We will miss Dan "grandpa" very much. He was a big part of our lives with our Tall Cedars family. I loved to see him coming he would always give me a great big hug. I will miss him so much. He was a dedicated friend, Tall Cedar & Mason. Whenever Wade called him he was right there if we needed him. We only knew Dan for three or four years however I feel I've known him forever. I'm so thankful for all of the support that Dan has given Wade during the time he has been in the Tall Cedars and as his friend. We love all of you and we hope that you will find peace and solace in the Lord during this time. If there is anything that we can do please let us know. Our thoughts and prayer are with you.
Matthew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see the face of God.
Our love to all of you.
