William Strasser Obituary

William Walter Strasser III, "Buddy", of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on November 22, 1946, to his parents, William Walter Strasser, Jr. and Florence H. Strasser. William was also preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara J. Skumatz, Lloyd Strasser, and Carolyn Rathbone.
He is survived by his nephews, Gerald W. Silk, Daniel B. Silk, Jeffery T. Silk, and William T. Strasser. William was a life member of Camp Baker and enjoyed fishing, shopping, swimming, arts and crafts, dancing, social events, and most of all family. The man loved a good cheeseburger and seafood!
Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. A public visitation will be held prior to the service at 10 a.m. William will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Baker in Chesterfield, VA, in Buddy's honor.
