Jimmy Wayne Wilson, 71, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 19, 2020 at his home in Englewood, Ohio.
He was born Jan. 23, 1949, in Cincinnati, then was raised in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Jim was a retired construction worker of 30 years who enjoyed bluegrass music and the company of friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ann Caselden; and his wife of 51 years, Patricia Ann Wilson.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jeannie Wilson; children, Greg (Sherri) Wilson of Eaton, Jimmy Wilson of Leesburg and Tracie (Dennis Searles) Guisinger of New Vienna; grandchildren, Jody (Nick Young) Wilson of Eaton, Jacob (Hillary) Wilson of Leesburg, Ashley (Mitchell Marcum) Wilson of Eaton, Aaron Guisinger of New Vienna, Tommy Wilson of Greenfield, Dustin Guisinger of New Vienna and Emily (Austin) Bales of New Vienna; great-grandchildren, Layla and Jacoby Wilson of Leesburg; brothers, Butch (Nola) Caselden and Ed Wilson; sisters, Vivian Norton and Loraine Rotroff; two stepchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
John 14:3: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also."
A private family viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Public visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by a funeral and memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
