vera McQuitty Obituary
Vera Faye McQuitty, 89, of Mowrystown, Ohio, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at Legacy Hillsboro.
She was born April 17, 1934, in Highland County, Ohio, daughter of the late Harley E. Kell and Stella Belle Roberts Kell.
She was a member of Mowrystown Church of Christ.
Surviving are son, Donald Jay McQuitty; son, Kenneth R. Mullins; son, Daniel E. Mullins; brother, Russell (Dorothy) Kell; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Vera was preceded in death by father, Harley E. Kell; mother, Stella Belle Roberts; husband, Maynard Merriel McQuitty; brother, Delton Kell; brother, Ralph Kell; sister, Janet Reed; and daughter-in-law, Linda Mullins.
Services will be held at the Edgington Funeral Home at 12 p.m. Sept. 16, 2023 with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Contributions may be made to the Council on Aging, Adams County.

I didn´t know Faye very long but I enjoyed talking to her when I was able to walk. She´s not in pain anymore and she will always look down to make sure you all are safe. hugs Darlene
