William "Billy" Marshall Jr., of Hillsboro, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Jan. 3, 2026.
Born on Sept. 24, 1941, in Harwood, Ohio, Billy was the son of the late William W. and Hilda (Allen) Marshall, Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Curt Hicks and a sister, Janet Glenn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Reba (Dean) Marshall; son, Mike (Vicky) Marshall; daughter, Barbara Hicks; grandchildren, Curtis (Rachel) Hicks, Daniel (Jessica) Hicks, Michael Marshall, Steven (Megan) Hicks; great-grandchildren Paris, Faith, Nash, and Jase Hicks; and two sisters, Mary Bowling and Carol (Delbert) Harless; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Dr. Rev. Dan Lamb will officiate services.
Graveside service will follow at Hamer Township Cemetery.
Family requests memorials to the Mission Fund at Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church or St. Jude’s.
