Jeffrey Stevens Obituary

Stevens, Jeffrey D. He departed this life suddenly on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital. He was born March 14, 1968 in Joliet, IL. He was the only son of Leroy and Sara Francine Stevens. He was educated in the Joliet Catholic Schools, graduating from Joliet Catholic High. His profession was a Culinary Chef. A former supervisor at Glenwood Care Centre and several other restaurants. He was also a fork lift operator. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Kim Stevens, one special niece, Sparkle and nephew, Brandon Stevens, godparents, Al and Mary Dawson of Georgia, special aunt, Elouise McNair, numerous aunts, uncles, church family, friends and loved ones. Visitation Friday, January 14, 2011 4-7 pm at the funeral home and Saturday, January 15, 2011 9-10 am at Second Baptist Church, 156 S. Joliet St., Joliet, IL. Service at 10 am, Pastor Larry V. Tyler, officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL. Minor-Morris Funeral Home 112 Richards St. (815) 723-1283
