Lucy M. Mastromatto

Lucy M. Mastromatto, 87, of Ambler, died on Oct. 4, 2014 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Mastromatto, Sr. She was born in Norristown, Pa., on June 21, 1927 to the late Vito and Lillian (Cicala) Bruno. Lucy attended Norristown High School. She later worked for various companies including Narco Avionics, Beemer Engineering, Suskind's, Kinsk Macaroni Factory, SKF and Truform Co. She was also a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She is survived by seven children, Marguerite McCarron of Cape Coral, Fla., Charlene Mastromatto of Ambler, Michelle Jones of Eagleville, Lisa Cerminara and Frank of Chalfont, Michael Mastromatto, Jr. of North Wales, Robert Mastromatto and Cheryl of Lower Gwynedd, James Mastromatto and Ginny of Hilltown; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister Marie Venezia of Phoenixville; a brother Augustus Bruno of Puerto Rico; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son Thomas Mastromatto, an infant son Thomas, a brother Michael Bruno, and a sister Phyllis Indellacarto. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler. The Viewing will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at church. Interment in St. John Neumann Cemetery. Arrangements by the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes.
