Matthew McKernan Obituary

Matthew John McKernan Matthew John McKernan, 48, of Allentown, passed away December 16, 2020. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Andrew and Nicolette (Salamone) McKernan. Matthew was a graduate of Kutztown University. He was a Web Designer and Developer, and the founder and president of Mosaic Interactive, a creative design agency in Bethlehem. Matthew was known by his friends and family as a witty and charismatic person with a sharp intellect, an infectious laugh, and a beautiful smile. He was an avid comic book collector, and like his hero, Barry Allen, he was a passionate advocate for justice. He enjoyed traveling, especially internationally, and he loved his children profoundly. Surviving are two sons: John and Remington, and his brother, Michael. The family will hold a Celebration of Life as soon as large gatherings are safe. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory has been entrusted with services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Swain School in Allentown, www.swain.org or Backpack Pals in Bethlehem, 610-704-5262. Shocked and deeply saddened. Matt helped me and my wife Angela launch our business during an extremely difficult time. Over the years we would occasionally touch base and he would always make me smile.
