Miriam Templeton Obituary

Miriam R. “Gina” Templeton, 82, of Quakertown, PA passed away on December 26, 2021. She was born in Norristown, PA on September 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Arthur N. and Helen (Harkins) Templeton. Gina has been living in Quakertown, formerly of Norristown, PA where she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. She was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School where she played basketball. She also enjoyed field hockey and softball. Gina worked for many years for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and in rectories including St. Francis, St. Joseph in Warrington and St. Eleanor in Collegeville. She is survived by her brother Joseph E. Templeton of Pennsburg, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur, David and Jude; and sisters, Mary Ann, Helen, and Margaret. Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 10:30 AM from St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
