Mother, Debra, Cavelle, James and LaDonna. My heart is so full right now, but know that I love you all so, so very, very much, I can only quote that, "When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares". Our childhoods memories together are priceless. My Girl Darlene Will Truly Be Missed, But Never Forgotten.

Mrs. Irene, Deborah, Cavelle, James and Donnie, I cannot explain how much I will miss Darlene; she was like a sister to me from the beginning. When your family arrived in Floyd Terrance, our families became friends immediately and Darlene and I were inseparable up to her home going. Even though it’s sad, God knows best! I will truly miss my friend. May God comfort all of you during this time. Love you all

To our Family in Vallejo, Ca. God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb. God bless From all of Pearl 's children; Veronica, Mary,June,Shelia,Craig, and Billy.

To the Family, Friends, and Loved Ones; this passing was a real shock because Darlene, Deborah, and Miss Irene were a vivid part of my childhood. They lived right across the grass from me in Floyd Terrace and our families intertwined almost immediately. We had a lot of good times together. However, in time, we all went out separate ways but I'll never forget Darlene. May God Bless in and keep you strong in this sad time.
