David Herrmann Obituary

David L. Herrmann June 2, 1933 - Feb. 7, 2006 David L. Herrmann, 72, of Casper, WY, formerly of Vallejo, died Tuesday at his home.

Born in Faulkton, South Dakota to Edward Herrmann and Bess M. Parker, Dave worked for Dr. Pepper and Pepsi, retiring after 35 years. Dave proudly served the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea, and was also a proud member of the V.F.W. Post 9439 in Casper.

His interests included taking care of his wife Pat and spoiling his daughter and granddaughter. Dave enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, garage sales and coffee with his friends.

Dave loved to make people laugh with his antics and watching movies and wrestling. Dave loved grocery shopping and visited with everybody.

Survivors included his wife of 37 years, Priscilla Herrmann, of Casper; daughter Cindy (Mark) Hise of Casper; son Fred (Tara) Herrmann of Vallejo; brothers Bob Herrmann of Huntersville, N.C. and Jerry (Toni) Herrmann of Sacramento; sister Sally (Donald) Frey of Vallejo; five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, Evansville, WY, with Major Keith C. Bottjen of the Salvation Army officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by Natrona County Veterans Council and the Wyoming National Guard.
