Rest in peace Uncle George! I wish we would have known each other better.

Pops. Our Sunday routine with you will never be the same. We'll miss the early morning phone calls, going to commissary and to Starbuck's (which you refused to drink). We'll miss your sarcastic sense of humor and gravel-like voice. You were and still are a wonderful dad. We love you.

George this is your old friend from Kansas. I really don't remember how long ago I met you, but many years ago now. It was through my cousin Carol that this acquaintence developed. Every time I would come out to visit, which was about once a year, we would cut up and laugh, and give Mike hell. Then we got to emailing jokes, we were both AOL buddies. You actually almost made it to my house in Kansas, but got cattywampus in Nebraska and turned around and went back to Vallejo. I will probably be out next month, and guess what, it will be a little different. Peace be with you George, your buddie in Kansas. Leonard
