Judith Meyer Obituary

June 5, 1940 - March 18, 2015

Judith Annabelle Lyon Meyer, 74, a lifelong resident of Benicia, passed away peacefully at home, March 18. Her husband of 52 years, Raymond Meyer, preceded her in death. Judith was a Secretary at Mills Elementary School, worked at the Benicia Post Office, and Concord Naval Weapon Station. She was baptized in 1970 as a Jehovah Witness and devoted her life to serving God.

Judith loved traveling and taking vacations with family and friends. Her stationwagon was always full of kids

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Katherine Meyer and Rayanne (Steven) Frazier; brother, Victor Lyon; grandsons, Michael and Stephen Jordan; great grandchildren, Kaylianne, Stephen, Anthony, Kaydee and Roman. Close family friend, LaRoyce Wells.

Judith, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, will be most remembered for her kind heart, generousity, love, always being there to listen and for giving the BEST hugs ever. We love you and miss you.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1845 East 3rd St., Benicia. A Celebration of life will follow from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Benicia Senior Citizen Center.

Judy lived around the corner from our family in Benicia. I ran with her two brothers Randy & Victor until the family moved to Southern CA. Lots of good memories
