Thomas Cline Obituary

May 31, 1948 - Oct. 6, 2013
"Top Cat" or "Tommy" to those who knew him was born on May 31, 1948 and went to Heaven on Oct. 6. He passed peacefully after a long illness with his family by his side.
Tommy spent most of his 65 years in Benicia. He grew up a small town guy with big dreams, and a cooler than cool attitude.
He enjoyed the pursuit of knowledge and also loved animals. He was always bringing home some "stray' dog. He loved people too, and was the kind of man who would give you "The shirt off his own back".
Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Calvin Cline, and survived by his mother, Virginia Cline; sister, Jolene Fletcher of Alabama; daughter, Christy Willis and son Anthony Cline of Benicia; numerous relatives in CA and Oak; his nephew, James and niece, Linda; 10 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. His memory will live on in them.

T.C. was one of my high school best friends. We planned to joined the U.S. Air Force on the "buddy plan" but the A.F. didn't take him cuz of his flat feet. I have alot of great memories of those times and will never forget T.C. & his cool orange 54 Merc Monterey. I've been praying for God's comfort for his mom, sister and family ever since hearing of his passing on Facebook on Thanksgiving.
