Barbara Ann Cummings, 89, of Kingston, passed away Sept. 26, 2025, at her home. She was born in Scranton and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Slavetskas.
Barbara was a graduate of Dickson City High School and was formerly employed at Leslie Fay and General Dynamics. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Most of all, she loved to be with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Bruce Cummings; daughters, Christine Bartosiewicz and her husband, Jay and Barb Blasko and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Kayla Cruz, Zachary, Tee, Alana, John, Connor Bartosiewicz; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Aurora Cruz; sisters, Patricia Pelucacci, Joan Pisano, Sue Kashmer; nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Kingston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pringle. Friends may call from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kingston.

We extend our sincere condolences in the passing of your Beautiful wife,grandmother,great grandmother, sister and friend.
She was a sweet woman and our sweetest memory of Mrs. Cummings was when my family was in Disney going into The Coral Reef restaurant and who was coming out when we were going in was Mr.& Mrs. Cummings. We were so surprised to see someone from home and as ALWAYS time was made to chat!!! Rest in peace Mrs. Cummings
