PITTSTON — Christopher Ryan Williams, 32, of Pittston, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Jacqueline (Brown) Naples and the late Frank Williams. Chris attended Pittston Area High School. He was employed at Maui Cup, Pittston Township. Chris was a member of American Legion Post 477, Pittston. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, Notre Dame and the Oakland Raiders. He also had a favorite pastime of fishing.
Chris was a beloved son, grandson, father, fiance, brother and friend, who was cherished by many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his stepfather, Rich Naples; maternal grandmother, Joan Brown; paternal grandfather, Wicker Williams; fiancee, Joelene Gross; daughter, Madison Williams; stepson, Kyle Norton; brother, William McCracken; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Frank; and aunt, Karen O'Boyle.
A blessing service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith). Relatives and friends may pay their respects 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown.
