A man can die, but his legacy lives forever in the hearts of the living. Mr. Yak was a great man who brought happiness and joy to all he encountered. He was very loved and he loved very much. No one will forget the things that he brought to them, whether it be comfort, love, or laughter. Death is the only certain thing in life, for we are sentenced to it the moment we are born. People quickly come and go, and it is with great regret and sorrow to see that it was Mr. Yak's time. He will be remembered and loved forever.

Sometimes lessons in life,

can be so very, very hard,

they leave you feeling tired and weary,

and more than a little battle scarred.

Dave was always smiling and laughing,

he always had a new joke to tell,

now we've lost a true and treasured friend.

Sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason,

and that's the way it seems to me

We all loved him, and we miss him so very much,

we were all blessed by his presence,

we were all moved by his tender touch.

Even in the saddest of moments, he could always bring a smile,

Dave you gave me plenty of memories to remember

especially the time when me and Diane came to tell you we were

having a baby, and you sat us down at the table and we talked about it. and also all the gatherings.

you were always there to listen as a father and a friend. Dave you will be missed

by all that knew you. And now Dave as we all sit and grieve Im know you are watching over your family and friends and are up in Heaven with the Lord where you have no more pain and their is no suffering. Dave you have a wonderful family that miss you so much. Please watch over them and guide them and be their guardian angel. You were and still are the best friend.

Love Always

Mr. Yak was always a wonderful friend to me, and our families spent a lot of time together as I was growing up. I will always remember him saying, "What's up Bernie Kid?". He was like an uncle. He will be sadly missed by myself and my whole family. All of my love to him and his family!

This wonderful man is my grandfather, and my best friend! I miss him dearly with all my heart each and everyday! When I moved back into his home I never thought that in such little time I would lose him! He told me everyday how much he loved me, and was he was so happy for me to be living with him again! I love my pop-pop very much and I know that he is in a better place!

I Love you Pop-Pop with all my heart and soul, each and everyday! You are forever in my heart!

Dave, Mr. Yak, as we always called him will always be remembered by me. He was a good friend and we went throught good times, happy times, sad times and bad times. We spent a lot of time together in the years I have known him. We went on vacation together, partied together, laughed together, cried together and just enjoyed our friendship. He is a good person. God decided it was time to go to him. He will be sadly missed but always thought of as a good friend forever. I love you Mr. Yak!!!
