Deborah Parrish Obituary

Mrs. Deborah Ann Parrish, 51,of Rice Street, Shavertown, died Thursday morning at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Mrs. Parrish was born in Kingston, a daughter of Shirley Rinkenberger Survilla and the late Joseph Survilla, and graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in 1974.
She was employed by PNC Bank for many years as a teller in the Dallas branch and then moved into the position of Head Teller at the Wilkes-Barre branch.
Mrs. Parrish was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she had been a Sunday school teacher for many years and was currently a member of the First Welsh Baptist Church, Plymouth. She was also a member of the American Institute of Banking. She was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed the beach and the family vacations to North Carolina.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert; a son, Jeffery, Norristown, Pa.; and daughters Jennifer, Penn Lake; Lauren, at home; a sister, Marjorie, and her husband, William Kaihiu, Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, Joseph, and his wife, Patricia, Mountain Top; a godson, A.J. Lemonjelli; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hugh B. Hughes and Son Funeral Home Inc., 1044 Wyoming Avenue, Forty For, with the Rev. Anita J. Ambrose officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon, from 4 to 8.
Funeral arrangements are by the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, Plymouth.

People don't get any better, sweeter or kinder than Deb was. She made an everlasting impression on me, was there for me many times, and I will always remember her smile and laugh.

Mr. Parrish, Jen, Jeff, and Lauren - I am so sorry for your loss and I hope you know she is in a good, safe place and will be watching over you until you see her again.
