KINGSTON — Dwight A. Nunemacher, of Kingston, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1945, Dwight was the son of the late George and Mary Reese Nunemacher. Dwight was a Little League coach, and was most proud when his team, the "Dodgers," won the Kingston Little League World Series.

Preceding Dwight in death, in addition to his parents, was a brother, Lee Nunemacher; and a brother-in-law John Coldren. Surviving is his wife, the former Judith A. Just heard about his death in March. I would be his 2nd cousin and new Mary Beth a little bit better. I am Earl's daughter, Lisa. My grandmother Anna and Dwight's father George were brother and sister. My deepest sympathy. Sorry I didn't know sooner.

It is so difficult to watch our generation leave this world. However we have seen good times together and have been friends and now it is time to pass the baton.
Judi we have known each other since you and Dwight lived in Shavertown many years ago.
Our lives Have taken different paths, but Dwight and I worked together for many years at CTec,.... always supporting each other when appropriate. My condolences to you and your family.

I´m so sorry to hear of Dwight´s passing. I only had the privilege of knowing Dwight for a few short months, but in that time I learned a great deal about him and what meant most to him: his family. Judi, I´ll never forget what he said to me one day - "Judi was the best thing that ever happened to me". Dwight loved to reminisce about his school days. He was a great story teller who will be greatly missed.

He was the toughest ball player I ever met. Great teammate to a walk-on player like me. Always ready with an word of encouragement. Just a terrific guy.

I am saddened to hear of Dwight's passing. Cash always looked forward to hanging out with "Ike" on the front porch and being able to "give paw." We will surely miss Dwight on our daily walks. He was a fantastic guy and I am honored to have met him; always kind and generous. May you find comfort in fond memories. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
