NORTHMORELAND TWP. — Harry B. Yatsko, 73, of Northmoreland Township, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, N.Y.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Harry was the son of the late George and Helen Boyd Yatsko. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock Area. He, along with his wife, founded Peaceful Valley Equestrian Center in 1994.
Harry was a Master Mason at Wyoming Lodge 468, a former PA State Deputy Game Warden, a charter member of the Northmoreland Fire Co., an avid hunter, a member of the National Rifle Association, a proud supporter of our President Donald Trump and a proud member of Quality Deer Management Association. He enjoyed teaching his grandchildren the art of shooting.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, George (Buddy) Yatsko, and his nephew, Jarrett Yatsko.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Orloff-Yatsko; his daughter, Sarah M. Arndt and her husband, Thomas, of Harveys Lake; his son, Harry B. Yatsko II and his wife, Janie, of Warwick, Md.; and brother, Wayne F. Yatsko and his wife, Leona, of Pahrump, Nev. He has five grandchildren whom he loved very much: Alexandria, Breanna, Julia, Erik and Regan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, in Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 420 Main St., Dallas, with the Rev. Joseph P. Rafferty officiating. Interment will be in Marsh Cemetery, Centermoreland. Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.
