Jacqueline Siegel Obituary

Jacqueline D. Siegel, 77, of Wapwallopen, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in Mountain Top, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Carey) Myers. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion, Dorrance Township, the Ladies Card Club, of Mountain Top, and a volunteer foster grandparent at Rice Elementary School. Jackie loved to go to the casinos with her dear friends, Janet and Betsy, as well as camping and watching wildlife. Her family would like to offer their gratitude to all of Jackie's caregivers since she took ill. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brothers, Douglas and Al Myers; and her granddaughter, Melissa McIntyre. Jackie is survived by her sons, Craig and Mark Siegel; daughter, Jackie McIntyre and her husband, David; granddaughter, Melanie McIntyre; and her sister, Donna. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. We are so sorry to hear of Jacky's death. She was always a special friend to both of us. We shall miss her pretty smile and happy nature. Gervy was a playmate when they were small and she was a classmatae of mine and we had lots of good times together.
