Jeffrey Campbell Obituary

Jeffrey David Campbell, 61, Dupont, a former resident of Dunmore, died Thursday in the VNA Hospice Unit of Community Medical Center following an almost yearlong battle with cancer.
He and his wife, the former Arlyne Anderson, celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary on May 27, 2008. Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Lindsey and Fern Jones Campbell. He was a 1964 graduate of Dunmore High School and was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed as a mechanic by the Letica Corporation.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kristen E. Pappa and her husband, Aaron; a granddaughter, Nyah Lynn Pappa.
Jeff was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his loving family.
The funeral will be Monday from the Thomas J. Golden Funeral Home, 2004 Delaware St, Dunmore, with services at 10 a.m. by the Rev. James Stevenson. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made in Jeff’s name to the VNA Hospice of Lackawanna County, 301 Delaware Ave, Olyphant, PA 18447
