BETHLEHEM — Jo-Ann (Rospendowski) Konsevitch, Bethlehem, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem.
Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Smereski) Rospendowski. Jo-Ann was married to Selar Konsevitch for 49 years until his passing on Sept. 25, 2007.
Jo-Ann worked at Piercing Pagoda as an accounts payable manger for 18 years. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish in Bethlehem and was an honorary member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthdox Church. She was also a member of the Old Baggers Dining Club with many of her closest friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Frank Rospendowski; and three sisters, Blanche Haydock, Victoria Smith and Dorothy Guyer.
Jo-Ann will be lovingly remembered by her son, Gregory Konsevitch, and his wife, Dale; daughter, Valerie Roberts. and her husband, Gordon; aunt, Sarah Smereski; and five grandchildren, Matthew Roberts and his wife, Jessica; Alex Roberts, Nicholas Roberts, Megan Konsevitch and Brendan Konsevitch.
A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Another viewing will be held 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday in Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jo-Ann's name to Incarnation of Our Lord Parish; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or at www.stjude.org.
