Mr. B taught me in 8th Grade at Sacred Heart. He was a passionate educator who always found the best in all of his students. He left a last impression on my life. His ability to listen and sense of humor made him loved by many. He was born to be an educator! Just last year ( when l was visiting for the holidays) he recalled my days with him in 8th grade and l am in my early 40's. He reminded me of some pivotal moments and shared them with my High School son. He had a remarkable memory and always found time to say hello to you. You weren't just a kid in his eyes you were a life he poured into. He always had a smile and knew just what to say to help you reach your fullest potential. He inspired me to be an educator and l only hope to be half the teacher he was to all of his students. He will be missed greatly! God had a calling on his life and he followed through with it. His relationship with the Lord was evident in all he did. He found beauty in all moments. My heart goes out to his family. Mr B, thank you for being my teacher. God gained an angel! Mr. Blizman was such a great teacher. When I had him for 8th grade at Sacred Heart, he taught me so much! To this day, I can say the Hail Mary in Slovak, French, and Latin. I also was the lucky winner of "the most likely to end up like Mr. B" category. Now, I am a teacher and I take pride in my work because of great teachers like him. He will be dearly missed.
