DALLAS — Kenneth C. Macdougall, 84, of Dallas, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at Lakeside Nursing Center, Dallas.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Claude and Bertha Corby Macdougall. Kenneth had attended Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.
Kenneth was a Korean War veteran with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Daddow Isaacs Post 672 American Legion. Kenneth was a loving and devoted husband to his wife and spent his last days by her side. He loved horses and was an avid life-long New York Yankees fan.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Wayda.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Wayda; sons, Scott Macdougall, Forty Fort, and Mark Macdougall and his wife, Wendy, Dallas; brother, Gary Macdougall, Hunlock Creek; sisters, Donna Parashos, Bangor, and Carol Deiter, Maryland; grandchildren, Chelsea Macdougall, Los Angeles, and Sean Macdougall and Ainsley Maiers, both of Dallas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas, with the Rev. Christopher Hail officiating. Friends attending the service are to go directly to the cemetery chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.

The Officers and Members of Daddow-Isaacs Inc. American Legion Post 672 join in extending Heartfelt Sympathy to Mrs. Kenneth MacDougall and Family at this Time of Sorrow. I remember Kenny very well. We were neighbors when I was growing up in Idetown. He was a friend of my family. Kenny always had a great smile and a hardy laugh. RIP Kenny, you will be missed.
