Leo F. Azaravich, 93, of Dupont, formerly of Pittston, passed away at home on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Colleen Fry Azaravich.
Born March 7, 1932, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Azaravich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Surviving are his son, Wayne and wife, Linda, and their children, Lindsay and Sarah; another granddaughter, Laura; great-grandsons: Wyatt and Nolan; brothers: Casimir, Joseph and Robert; sisters: Gloria and Dolores; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his son, Allan; daughter-in-law, Diane; grandson, Stephen; brothers: John and Edward; and sisters: Helen and Stella.
The funeral and burial service will be held at noon Saturday in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duryea.
Arrangements are by Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home, Pittston.

Uncle Leo You were the mentor that made Me the Man I am today. I´m Forever Grateful for All The Time You Gave Me Just To Guide Me Like I Was Your Son. I haven´t seen You in many years. But You´re always on My mind. Because Without You I wouldn´t have become the person I am today. Though nobody ever knew what You did for Me or meant to Me. That was Your persona. A crotchety old man with a heart of gold and the guidance of a REAL FATHER. Like I told Alan many many times You´re So Lucky to have a DAD Like him.
