Mary McGowan Obituary

A loving and devoted wife, mother, Granny and friend, went to her eternal home on Sunday, December 7, 2014. She was 78. She was retired from Louisiana Companies. She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her son, James Cecil McGowan Jr. and wife Lauren, and two beautiful granddaughters; Sophie Grace McGowan and Sadie Camille McGowan. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral home, in Denham Springs, on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 9am until Celebration of Life Service at 11am, conducted by Rev. Joel Hilbun. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, James Cecil "Jimmy" McGowan Sr., and her parents Cecil and Louise Roberts. I will always love you sweet Mary Lou. I have so many wonderful memories of our families traveling together. I can not eat a cheese biscuit without comparing it to yours. They were the best. Rest in Peace.
