Ramona Wall Obituary
MONROE TWP. — Ramona P. Wall, 89, Monroe Township, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her home.
Born in Beaumont, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Alice Kunkle Meeker. She was a graduate of Kingston Twp. High School and Luzerne County Community College with an associate's degree in medical transcription. She worked at various dress factories in the area. Ramona was a member of Alderson United Methodist Church, Harveys Lake, and also attended Noxen United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Glenn Wall.
Surviving are her son, Russell Wall and his wife, Elaine, of Monroe Township; daughters Eileen Goble and husband Gene, of Salem, Alabama, Cindy Trumbower and husband Dave, of Hunlock Creek, Amelia Hettesheimer and husband Jesse, Polly Weisenbacher and husband Ken, and Barbara Wall, all of Monroe Township; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Ramona loved traveling and spending time with her family and extended family. Knitting and sewing were her favorite pastimes. If you have one, please bring a grandma quilt to show off.
There will be a memorial service for Ramona at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, in Noxen United Methodist Church, Tunkhannock Road and Route 29, Noxen, with the Rev. Val Rommel officiating. Friends and family may call 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are through the Nulton Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 Route 309 (Beaumont), Monroe Township.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kunkle Fire Co., 3943 Route 309, Dallas, PA 18612.
