HANOVER TWP. — Robert J. Bogdon, of Hanover Township, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Geisniger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born April 16, 1940, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Bodzio) Bogdon.
He was a graduate of Plymouth High School, class of 1958.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Robert was formerly employed by United Parcel Service for many years.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre.
He is survived by sons, Robert and his wife, Heather Bogdon, of Shavertown, John and his wife, Amy Bogdon, of Mountain Top, Daniel Bogdon, of Hanover Township; grandchildren Emily, Katie, William, Collin and Annabel Bogdon; sister, Barbara Zagropski, of Plymouth; several nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his wife, Marilyn and brother, Michael.
Funeral will be held at the convenience of family from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre.
